As a result of the devastating fires that swept through the Santa Monica Mountains surrounding Malibu a few years ago, we designed a complete exterior landscape plan of the property around the newly rebuilt home. From the modern security wall and gates, entry and driveway hardscape out front, to all aspects of the backyard, including the infinity pool with elevated spa, a swim up bar next to the dining cabana, a full outdoor kitchen, and a fire pit seating area to enjoy those chilly canyon evenings under a star-filled sky. Using strict fire-scape guidelines and drought tolerant plants, we designed a lush new landscape to make this home feel like an exotic resort that is both safe and relaxing.
