This sprawling estate located an hour outside of the hustle of Los Angeles is a remote hideaway for a celebrity pop singer and his family. We had the challenge of creating a beautiful, low-maintenance landscape that accented the unique modern architecture of the house while surviving both triple-digit summer heat and sub-freezing winter temperatures of this high-desert location – not an easy task! Working with the modern Santa Fe style of the house and exotic desert plants, we added extra impact with dramatic lighting effects throughout the property. My favorite feature is the custom-built concrete fountain and lush living green wall nestled into a small Zen meditation space outside the master bedroom.
