Utilizing xeriscaping design methods and sustainable materials, our design solutions emphasize water conservation and ease of maintenance to minimize our footprint on the environment.

Our numerous projects include beautiful and functional outdoor spaces at residences, schools, and businesses throughout California, diverse locations across the United States, and Mexico City. Team

Michael Bernier is founder and lead designer of Michael Bernier Design, a premier landscape and exterior design firm based in Los Angeles, California. After a prolific career as an advertising Creative Director, Michael discovered his true passion while studying Landscape Architecture at UCLA—marrying his design expertise with his love for natural environments.

Michael’s design process intuitively connects the building’s architectural style with the essence of the land on which it sits, while thoughtfully integrating the clients’ lifestyle needs and aesthetic desires.

Wanting to share his knowledge of landscape design with a broader audience, Michael recently launched Think Outside Landscape Design Academy to instruct Do-It-Yourselfers and landscape professionals through online courses and videos.
